تلقّى المفوّض الشرق الأوسط لحقوق الإنسان السفير الدكتور هيثم ابو سعيد مستندات جديدة من إحدى الشخصيات السورية المعنية في المصالحات الدكتور بسام بركات عن توقيف شاحنات بعد رصد كمين لهم من قبل الجيش السوري كانت متوجهة للغوطة الشرقية قبل إندلاع ما سًمّي بأزمة "سكريبال" بيومين. وبعد متابعة حثيثة من قبل من تمّ تكليفهم تبيّن مكمن السر وراء اغتيال الجاسوس الروسي سكريبال مع ابنته في سالزبري في بريطانيا من قبل الاستخبارات البريطانية ووتوجيه الاتهام لروسيا بالقيام بذلك بدون أدلة وذلك لأن الجيش السوري وبمساعدة حلفائه استطاع أن يصادر تلك الشاحنة المعبأة بالأسلحة، وليتبيّن أنه يوجد ضمن هذه الصفقة قذيفة لونها خضراء لغاز سام صناعة بريطانيا وفي مدينة سالزبوري: (دققوا ما كتب على القذيفة وعندها تصبح الأمور واضحة)..
ومن ضمن المعلومات اخطيرة التي تمّ التأكّد منها غبر وسائل خاصة للجنة أن هناك ضباط استخبارات بريطانيين وأمريكان وإسرائليين وسعوديين وقعوا في قبضة الجيش السوري في أحد غرف العمليات المحصنة جدا أثناء أقتحام الجيش السوري وحلفائه للغوطة الشرقية وبالمساعدة المباشرة لروسيا وعندما طلبت بريطانيا من سلطنة عٌمان التوسط لدى روسيا لتسليم الضباط البريطانين إليها، وعندما جاء الرد سلبياً وأنه من الواجب التواصل مع القيادة السورية فهذا لم يكن مكان ترحيب.

وفي سياق متصل أشار السفير أبو سعيد أن هناك غرفة عمليات مشتركة إسرائيلية / كردية في مقاطعتي الجزيرة وكوباني وهي التي تدير العمليات العسكرية فيها، كما أنها تقوم بدعم لوجيستي لها جنباً الى جنب مع القواعد الأميركية الخمس ( كوباني / عين العرب عدد ٢، والمالكية، والحسكة والشدادي) وتستفيد من الموارد النفطية والقطنية والسدود الثلاث (البعث والثورة وتشرين) بالإضافة إلى أراضي زراعية شاسعة.
